The Larned High School girls golf team won the Hoisington Invitational by 30 strokes over second-place Pratt Monday at the par-36 2,556-yard Lake Barton Golf Club, located between Hoisington and Great Bend.
Larned, which placed three golfers in the top four and six in the top 16, posted a 198 score.
Pratt placed second with a 228 score, followed by Nickerson 242, Hoisington 242, Plainville 253, Thomas More Prep-Marian 257 and Great Bend 279.
Larned’s Ariana Meyer captured first-place individual medalist honors with a 3-over-par 39.
Pratt’s Lexi Simmons was the second-place medalist with a 47, followed by Larned’s Khloe Smith and Taeten Reynolds in third and fourth place with scores of 50 and 52.
Nickerson’s Aubree Nikkel and Hoisington’s Alaina Rubio tied for fifth place with 54s, followed by Plainville’s Adelaide Russell, seventh place, 56. Pratt’s Iliana Craft and Larned’s Harleigh Ehrlich tied for eighth with 57s.
Nickerson’s Jillian Hartman tied for 10th place with Plainville’s Savannahg Staubaugh with 58s, with Hartman defeating Staubaugh in a playoff for the final individual medal.
