The Halstead Dragon football team rolled past Larned 42-12 Friday night at Larned.
The Dragons led 28-0 in the first quarter. Edric Zorn scored on a 7-yard touchdown run and quarterback Damien Whillock connected with Jacob Bennett on a 3-yard TD pass.
Whillock hooked up with Zorn on a 8-yard TD pass. Reese Carmichael scored Halstead’s fourth TD of the first quarter on a 2-yard run.
Whillock connected with Wyatt Hobbs on TD passes of 33 and 25 yards in the second and third quarters. Davis Conard was 6-for-6 on extra points.
Larned scored one TD in the second quarter and one in the third quarter to make the final score 42-12.
Larned will host Pratt next Friday. Pratt lost to Hesston 41-6 on Friday. Halstead (2-1) plays at Garden Plain next Friday.
