The Humboldt football Cubs hosted the Eureka Tornadoes on Friday night 9/11. The Cubs won the game decisively 42-0. Junior quarterback Ty Shaughnessy put up some impressive numbers with 143 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns and threw for 2 more TD’s to seniors Broc Ivy and Kolton Hanson.
The defense had 2 interceptions and multiple sacks and tackles for loss to help the Cubs secure the shutout.
The Cubs will travel to Caney Valley HS next Friday night Sept. 18 at 7pm to take on the Bullpups.
