The Andale football team was able to score in all three phases early against Wichita Trinity Academy on Friday in Andale.
Andale scored 50 points in the opening 12 minutes en route to an 80-7 victory over the Knights to improve to 6-0 and 3-0 in Class 3A District 6.
Andale junior Parker Lies scored two of the Indians’ first three touchdowns, the first coming off a blocked punt by Luke Seiler and recovering a Knight fumble for a score. Lies added an offensive score with 3:42 left in the first quarter with a 20-yard touchdown reception.
Andale got two touchdowns from Jayven Dansel in the opening quarter: a 52-yard touchdown reception and a 16-yard touchdown run. Cruz Kaiser added a 39-yard touchdown run, capped off by a safety.
Jrayton Dansel’s 9-yard run and a 26-yard reception by Afton Allaire capped off the first-half scoring with the running clock beginning with 6:15 left in the first half.
Andale scored twice in the second half, a 2-yard run by Hudson Ungles and a 53-yard touchdown pass by Jackson Short from Brayden Spexarth.
The Indians held the Knights to 57 yards of total offense while producing 488 yards of total offense. Kaiser went 3-for-3 for 98 yards and three scores and added a rushing touchdown.
Andale travels to Clearwater for its final AVCTL Division 4 and district game on Friday, with a chance to clinch the league and district championships outright.
