A balanced offensive attack led the Andale Indians to a 49-6 victory over Wichita Collegiate in Andale on Friday.
The Indians racked up 389 yards of offense, with junior quarterback Cruz Kaiser accounting for 216 yards and four total touchdowns.
Andale got two touchdowns in the first quarter, a 12-yard touchdown run by Jrayton Dansel and a 37-yard touchdown pass from Kaiser to Jayven Dansel.
Jayven Dansel added his second receiving touchdown, a 57-yard score, after recording an interception with 10 minutes, 57 seconds left in the first half. The Indians got three more touchdowns in the second quarter: a 4-yard run by Noah Stanley, a 23-yard touchdown pass from Kaiser to Afton Allaire, and a 31-yard touchdown run by Kaiser.
Stanley added a 59-yard touchdown run in the third quarter that triggered a running clock. The Spartans got a 6-yard touchdown run from Landon Langston with 1:40 left in the third. The game was called due to lightning with 7:07 remaining.
Andale (4-0, 4-0 AVCTL-IV) will travel to Cheney next Friday.
