Andale (2-0) received 17 media votes and is ranked No. 1 in Kansas Class 3A. Cheney (2-0) and Hesston (2-0) are second and third. Hoisington (1-1) is ranked eighth.
On Friday, Andale plays at Wellington, Cheney plays at Hoisington and Hesston plays at Pratt.
Sterling (2-0) received 14 of 17 first-place votes to stay on top of Class 1A. Inman (2-0) received the other three first-place votes and is second.
Thomas More Prep-Marian (2-0) is ranked fifth in Class 1A, Sacred Heart (2-0) is ranked seventh and Moundridge (1-1) is 10th.
Sterling hosts Inman Friday night in a No. 1 vs. No. 2 showdown. TMP plays at Phillipsburg, Salina Sacred Heart hosts Lyons and Moundridge hosts Ellinwood.
In Kansas Class 4A, Great Bend (2-0) is ranked fourth, Buhler (2-0) is ranked sixth and McPherson (1-1) is tied for eighth with Louisburg (2-0).
On Friday, Buhler plays at McPherson in a No. 6 vs. No. 8 showdown and Great Bend will travel to Garden City for a Western Athletic Conference matchup.
In Kansas Class 2A. Southeast of Saline (2-0) is ranked fourth and Haven (2-0) is ranked seventh.
Haven hosts Hillsboro on Friday and Southeast of Saline hosts Ellsworth.
Central Plains (2-0) is tanked fourth in Eight-Man I. The Oilers will host Kinsley on Friday night in Claflin.
Little River (2-0), Hutchinson Central Christian (2-0), Cunningham (2-0) and Victoria (1-1) are ranked third, fifth, sixth and seventh in Eight-Man II.
On Friday night, Hutchinson Central Christian hosts Cunningham in a No. 5 vs. No. 6 showdown and Little River hosts Victoria in a No. 3 vs. No. 7 matchup.
In Kansas Class 5A, Kapaun-Mount Carmel (2-0) is ranked first, Hays High (2-0) is ranked third, Bishop Carroll (2-0) is sixth, Andover (2-0) is seventh and Salina Central (1-1) is 10th.
On Friday, Kapaun hosts Wichita East, Hays does not play, Bishop Carroll plays at Washburn Rural, Andover hosts Valley Center and Salina Central hosts Arkansas City.
Derby (2-0) is ranked second in Class 6A behind Mill Valley (2-0). Manhattan (0-2) is ranked third and Maize is fourth (2-0).
Mill Valley plays Shawnee Mission West Thursday at Shawnee Mission South Stadium. On Friday, Derby hosts Haysville-Campus and Manhattan plays at Dodge City.
Weskan (2-0) ls first in Six-Man, followed by Tescott (2-0), Ingalls (2-0), South Barber (1-1) and Peabody-Burns (1-1).
Peabody-Burns hosts Elyria Christian Thursday for the second time in three weeks. Peabody-Burns defeated Elyria Christian 54-7 in Week 1.
On Friday, Weskan hosts Marais des Cygnes Valley, Tescott hosts Western Plains, Ingalls hosts Ashland and South Barber plays at Moscow.
