It was a red, white and blue morning at the Kansas State Fair Wednesday as Veterans were honored with a breakfast inside the Bison Arena.
The 16th annual event brought together a room full of men and women who served around the world and across all military services. Lt. Col. Jeremy Cook, commander of the 184th Cyberspace Operations Group was the keynote speaker and expressed his gratitude for the freedom they provided while he was growing up – and the freedom we have today.
Lt. Col. Cook also talked about his current mission in cyber operations – as his team looks at mitigating risks here and abroad. Lt. Col Cook tells Ad Astra News they are the watchman for everything in the cyber world.
“Any and all things AI, any and all things what the adversary is doing that’s what we are trying to gain a strategic advantage over,” he said.
The event wrapped up with a Q & A session with Lt. Col. Cook and then fellowship time between military veterans and their families.
