HESSTON, Kan. — The Hesston College baseball team had three players recognized with Continental Athletic Conference honors following the 2026 season.
Federico Moran (Fr., Houston, Texas) was named honorable mention at third base after leading the Larks at the plate. Moran hit .406 with a 1.150 OPS across 36 starts, totaling 54 hits in 133 at-bats. He scored 34 runs, added 13 doubles and seven home runs and drove in 38 RBIs while posting a .488 on-base percentage. Defensively, Moran recorded a .905 fielding percentage at third base.
Kaleb Wise (Jr., Newton, Kan.) earned honorable mention as a designated hitter after a record-setting season. Wise hit .322 in 43 games with 37 hits, including five doubles and a program-record 15 home runs. He drove in 42 runs, finished with a 1.166 OPS and posted a .409 on-base percentage.
Kreyton Johnson (Fr., Queen Creek, Ariz.) was named a Gold Glove selection at first base, anchoring the Larks defensively. Johnson recorded 233 putouts in 246 total chances with just four errors, finishing the season with a .984 fielding percentage.
The trio highlights a strong core for the Larks, with two freshmen earning recognition alongside a junior who set a new program standard at the plate.
