YATES CENTER, Kan. — A 64-year-old Yates Center woman received serious injuries in an all-terrain vehicle accident just before 5 PM Sunday in Yates Center.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said Tammie Fee was eastbound on Wilson Street when she failed to negotiate the turn northbound onto Grove Street, overturning the ATV onto its passenger side.
Fee, who was not wearing a helmet or seat belt, was taken to Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola for treatment.
