City of Salina is now accepting E-Waste at the Drive-Thru Recycling Center.
If you have old electronics gathering dust at home or work, you can now recycle them at the Salina Drive-Thru Recycling Center. The city accepts a wide range of electronic waste, often called e-waste. This includes items like computers, monitors, televisions, printers, cell phones, chargers, and nearly anything with a cord or battery.
When you bring e-waste, keep it separate from other recyclables. This helps staff sort items quickly and safely.
The recycling center also takes common materials such as cardboard, paper, aluminum cans, steel cans, plastic bottles, and glass containers. You don’t need to sort these items before you arrive. Staff will handle the sorting while you stay in your vehicle.
The center serves all residents and small businesses in Saline County. You can use the drive-thru service Wednesday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The facility is at 125 W. North St., at the corner of N. Santa Fe Avenue and W. North Street. The site is closed on standard city holidays.
If you have questions about what you can bring or need more details, visit salina-ks.gov/sdrc or call Salina General Services at (785) 309-5750.
