HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Get ready for a weekend of competition, community, and classic American fun as the U.S. Nationals Horseshoe Pitching Tournament comes to Rice Park in Hutchinson on May 29–31, 2026!
Hosted by the Rice Park Horseshoe Club and Visit Hutch, and sanctioned by the National Horseshoe Pitchers Association (NHPA), this exciting three-day event will welcome competitors and spectators from across the country, along with many talented Kansans ready to compete on their home turf.
The tournament weekend will feature three separate championship events, giving players multiple chances to showcase their skill, focus, and precision in one of America’s most enduring sports traditions.
Festivities begin Friday, May 29, and continue through Saturday and Sunday, creating a full weekend of exciting competition and friendly camaraderie for athletes, families, and fans alike. Admission is free and open to the public, making it the perfect opportunity for Hutchinson residents and visitors to stop by, cheer on the competitors, and experience the fun firsthand.
