A Salina man is in jail after allegedly threatening a woman on a walking trail.

Police Captain Jim Feldman tells Ad Astra News that 21-year-old Connor L. Mick was taken into custody on Tuesday morning after he approached a 66-year-old woman, told her he had a gun and was ready to kill.

The victim had been walking along the dike in the area of Oxbow Park and found a person mowing nearby, who called police.

Officers located Mick, who did not comply with verbal commands and resisted arrest before being taken into custody. No firearm was located.
