The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has arrested 28-year-old daycare provider Tregon Guernsey in Garnett on charges tied to abusing two children.
Investigators say Guernsey severely injured a five-month-old infant in November 2025 and earlier struck a four-year-old in July 2024.
She is being held in the Anderson County Jail on $500,000 bond. The Anderson County Attorney is expected to prosecute.
