Join Michael Smith, professor of political science at Emporia State, August 6 at 5:30, as he discusses his new book, Reform and Reaction. Tracing the push-and-pull, reform-and-reaction pattern of the Kansas state government since the 1960s, Smith will illuminate the political history of Kansas, including the loss of moderates in both parties, the Brownback era and its aftermath in what he calls the arc of Kansas politics.
