On a day the National Weather Service has posted an extreme heat warning in place and is forecasting gusty south winds, a high temperature of 108-degrees and heat index values as high as 111 – Ad Astra Radio is reminding everyone to keep cool.
As seen in the photo, keeping cool was an easy task back in early January of 2025 as the snow was piled high and bone chilling temperatures locked down the city for a couple of days.
Forecasters say after a long hot weekend – Salina should see a gradual cool-down by Monday with partly sunny skies and a high of 88-degrees.
