Salina City Commissioners are set to nominate and appoint a new commissioner at their Monday meeting.
Thirty one-people showed interest and applied for the seat that was vacated by Jerry Ivey II at the end of July.
The person selected will serve out the rest of Ivey’s unexpired term which runs till January 10th 2028. The commission will then be a full body again with five commissioners.
