Bluejay Men Fall to Mount Marty in 1-0 Decision Despite Leading the Charge Offensively

WICHITA, Kan. – Tabor College Men’s Soccer made the short commute to Wichita on Friday evening to play host to Mount Marty at Stryker Sports Complex. Going into the match, the Lancers held a 1-0 advantage over the Bluejays.

Mount Marty scored at the 18′ mark, and despite their best efforts, Tabor was unable to come up with an equalizer.

The Bluejays out-shot the Lancers, 17-15, with Martin Marinakis recording six total shots and three shots on goal.

On the defensive side of things, Ignacio Fabeiro recorded six saves in the 1-0 loss.

Tabor returns to action on Wednesday as they open up KCAC play against McPherson in Hillsboro.
