McPherson EMS has launched a McPherson Strong apparel fundraiser to support victims and families affected by the October 17 crash at Wichita’s Stryker Sports Complex, which killed 6-year-old Cole Adrian and 35-year-old Nicholas Schafer of McPherson and injured 11 others.

Proceeds from shirts and sweatshirts will go directly to those impacted, with orders available through the McPherson Strong online store until November 22.

The Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office announced that no charges have been filed yet against the driver involved in the crash at Stryker Sports Complex.

McPherson schools will be closed on Monday as many students and staff members will be attending the funeral of Cole Adrian, who along with 35-year-old Nicholas Schafer, died in the incident.

McPherson EMS: “We are incredibly grateful to Atomic Sports for stepping up to the challenge and helping make this fundraiser possible. We also want to give a huge thank you to Mimi’s T-Shirts for their continued support, guidance, and generosity throughout this effort.”
