Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita has reopened after a pickup truck drove onto a youth soccer field Saturday, killing six-year-old Cole Adrian and 35-year-old Nicholas Schafer, both of McPherson.
The accident caused injuries to ten others. The city is installing temporary safety barriers while assessing security at the facility.
COMCARE mental health professionals are offering support to affected families through Friday. The 34-year-old driver has been released without charges as investigators await toxicology results and a vehicle inspection.
