The man who helped cofound ‘DeFlock Lindsborg,’ is now a council member on the very panel he once addressed as a citizen about Flock cameras.
Brandon Burch has filled Lindsborg’s vacant Ward 4 seat after his appointment Monday. Councilmember Lysa Palmer-Augusta nominated Burch, and no other nominations were made.
A committee of city officials and two council members had met with interested residents. Burch won approval by voice vote and took the oath and his seat during the meeting.
Mayor Clark Shultz also appointed Marjorie Anderson to the Design Review Board and Sister City Committee without objection.
