The Humboldt Lady Cubs remained undefeated in Tri-Valley League play after splitting a home triangular Tuesday with Baxter Springs and Cherryvale. Humboldt fell to non-league opponent Baxter Springs in three sets, 25-18, 2-25 and 25-8, before bouncing back with a three-set victory over Cherryvale.
The win kept the Lady Cubs atop the Tri-Valley League standings.
