Local Events

All ages are invited to meet at the gazebo in Swensson Park on the 400 block of North Main Street at 5:00 PM to decorate strollers, wagons, bikes, or yourself, then march through the park. Concessions start at 5:00 PM. Entertainment starts at 6:00 PM in the bandshell and includes several local and regional performers, from twirlers to dancers to musicians.

Bring your friends and family and celebrate Independence Day at this FREE event.

Two full days of fun activities,
including the annual Turtle Races and Parade. Saturday Nights features a concert & fireworks.

Bring your lawn chairs, family, and friends for a night of community celebration as we honor America’s birthday and celebrate 50 years of Strawder’s Fireworks!
