Get ready to make some waves starting Saturday, May 23rd as Salt City Splash kicks off their BIG Opening Weekend Celebration! The Splash will be open all weekend long through Memorial Day Monday, May 25, the ONLY Monday they will be open all season.

Please join the SEK Multi-County Health Department for the annual community baby shower.

The tournament weekend will feature three separate championship events, giving players multiple opportunities to compete at a high level while showcasing the skill and tradition of the sport of horseshoe pitching. The festivities begin Friday, May 29 and continue through Saturday and Sunday, creating a full weekend of competition and camaraderie for athletes and spectators alike.  

The Salt City Racing series brings exciting dirt track racing to the Fairgrounds, a fun, action-packed night for all ages! Bring the whole family out to the Kansas State Fairgrounds, on May 29-30, 2026, racing starts at 7:00 pm. On May 29th the races will include IMCA Racing. On May 30th the races will include ASCS National Sprint Car Series vs. Gunsmoke Retion.

Allen County Zero Reasons Why is having a Fun Run Saturday, May 30th at Riverside Park. They will offer 5K and 10K options as they raise funds for the teen-led storytelling and community mobilization program to remove the stigma of mental health and prevent teen suicide.

Join the 2026 Veterans Poker Run on Saturday, May 30th! Registration starts at 8 a.m. Kickstands Up at 9. Last Bike in at 1 p.m.

The Veterans Poker Run will take place at Salt City Cycles on May 30, 2026, registration starts 8:00 am., kickstands up at 9:00 am, last bike in at 1:00 pm.

In this re-imagined musical review, the talented Stage 9 ensemble will perform songs from rolls they would never traditionally be cast.  Drinks, snacks, and a silent auction will add to the evening's entertainment.
