Junior quarterback Joshua Stuckey ran for four touchdowns Friday, as the Kinsley Coyotes won on the road at Macksville in a district game, 46-0, which ended in the third quarter due to the 45-point mercy rule.
The game ended when Kinsley’s junior wide receiver Joey Prieto scored on a reverse from 51 yards out early in the third quarter.
Macksville tried to keep it close in the first half, when sophomore Brandon Franklin intercepted a pass with it just a two-possession game, but the Mustangs couldn’t punch it in, and that’s when the Coyotes went on a huge run and never looked back.
Kinsley earned its second district win, as Macksville was left searching for its first district win, and both Macksville and Kinsley’s overall records are now at 3-3.
