Lyla Levin of Inman High School continues to cement her place as one of the top arms in the state, reaching 400 career strikeouts Tuesday night in a sweep over Sterling High School (9-0, 12-2).
The junior has been dominant all season, posting an 11-1 record in 65.2 innings with 113 strikeouts, a 0.95 ERA, and holding opponents to just a .142 batting average.
Inman now sits at 18-1 on the year as the Teutons continue to roll.
Levin has been a key piece of Inman’s success over the past few seasons, helping lead the program to a 2A state runner-up finish last year and a fourth-place finish the year before.
A two-time Sports in Kansas First Team All-State selection, she continues to deliver at a high level.
Inman will look to keep the momentum going Friday against Remington High School as postseason play approaches.
