Vogl, White Reach Career Milestones as Pretty Prairie Volleyball Sweeps Matches

Pretty Prairie High School volleyball team seniors Kayleigh Vogl both reached milestones Tuesday night as the Bulldogs defeated South Barber and Pratt-Skyline.

Vogl has reached 1,000 career kills and White has achieved 1,000 career digs.

The Bulldogs (15-8) defeated South Barber 2 games to 0 (25-21, 25-7) and Pratt-Skyline 2-0 (25-11, 25-9).

“We are celebrating two incredible milestones,” said Pretty Prairie volleyball coach Lori Young on the team’s Facebook page. “What an amazing accomplishment for both athletes.”

In the Pratt-Skyline win (according to MaxPreps), Pretty Prairie’s Kathryn Weide had 6 kills, 5 digs and 4 aces. Vogl had 8 kills, 4 digs and 2 aces.

In the South Barber win, Vogl had 10 digs and 6 kills. White had 9 assists and 8 digs.

Pretty Prairie students showed their support for the volleyball team by wearing pink at the matches Tuesday night.

Pretty Prairie will compete in the Kingman Invitational on Saturday. The Bulldogs will play Conway Springs, Pratt, Wichita Collegiate, Kingman and Leon-Bluestem.

The first matches start at 8:30 a.m.
