The Buhler High School girls golf team won the Pretty Prairie Invitational by 57 strokes and Crusader golfers Grace Schmidt, Olivia Hall and Niah Dilbeck claimed the top three individual medals.
The tournament took place Tuesday on the par-72, 5,256-yard Eagles Pub and Golf Course in Pretty Prairie. The top 10 golfers, including ties, earned medals.
Buhler posted a 394 score to win the team title. Pretty Prairie placed second with a 451 score, followed by Kingman 464, Mulvane 465, Hutchinson Trinity Catholic 467, Medicine Lodge 477 and Cheney 508.
Schmidt placed first in the individual standings with a 90, followed by Hall with a 92 and Dilbeck 97. Hutchinson Trinity’s Clara Shank placed fourth with a 98.
Mulvane’s Kaitlyn Paul placed fifth with a 106 score. Pretty Prairie’s Jewelynn Reese and Mulvane’s Madilyn Dillon tied for sixth, 108; Kingman’s Stormy Waters, eighth, 110; and Pretty Prairie’s Hallie Deel and Lyndsey Hoyt, tied for ninth, 114.
Other Buhler scores: Emree Goering, tied for 11th, 115; Meadow Schlatter, tied for 15th, 117; and Kylie Gregg, tied for 17th, 118.
Other Pretty Prairie scores: Sommerleigh Mizell, tied for 11th, 115; Allison Tipton, 33rd, 141; and Ellie Hoyt, 36th, 147.
Other Hutchinson Trinity scores: Gentri Christiansen, tied for 17th, 118; Allison Moodie, tied for 22nd, 121; Mellany Tapia, tied for 30th, 130.
