HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Carri Wead, Chief Innovation and Strategy Officer at TECH Inc., has been elected to the board of directors of InterHab, the statewide association of community providers serving Kansans with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her term begins Jan. 1, 2027.

“I’m excited to help shape the developmental disability field at both the state and local level,” Wead said. “I’m passionate about the work TECH does and the possibilities ahead for our services.”

“Carri has spent her career finding better ways to support the people we serve, and that’s exactly the perspective the state needs right now,” said Lincoln Burr, President and CEO of TECH. “Having her at the InterHab table gives Reno County a direct voice in the policy decisions that shape our work.”

Wead has worked in the developmental disabilities field for more than 20 years, including 9 years with TECH.
