HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Open Door Health Services Board of Directors has appointed Lee Keele of Hutchinson as their new executive director. Keele will lead the nonprofit, which provides free, confidential pregnancy and sexual health services to residents of Hutchinson and the surrounding area.
Keele succeeds Kristi Kirk, who served as the organization’s executive director for more than 4 years.
Keele has spent more than 30 years leading people and organizations. Most recently, he was a people business partner for a multinational manufacturer. Prior jobs include more than 25 years in ministry and mission work, including 11 years as senior pastor of a congregation here in Hutchinson.

“Open Door has made a meaningful impact in this community for a long time, and I’m grateful to be trusted with its continued mission,” Keele said. “My job is to see the organization through the next season, making sure the men and women who come through our doors keep finding the same care they’ve always found, and that the organization remains strong. ”
Lee and his wife, Ginger, have five children.
