A night of rock music featuring From Ashes to New with Saliva and Saving Abel

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A hard-hitting night of rock is coming to the 2026 Kansas State Fair. Saturday, September 19 will be Rock Fest at the Fair featuring From Ashes to New with Saliva and Saving Abel. They will take over the Kansas Star Casino Grandstand on the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson starting that evening at 6:30 PM.

From Ashes to New has built a loyal fan base with an anthemic blend of hard rock, hip-hop, electronic and alternative influences. Hailing from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the band is known for high-energy live shows and songs that turn struggle, resilience and self-reflection into arena-ready rock. Their sound brings together heavy guitars, rap-driven verses and soaring vocals on fan favorites like “Barely Breathing,” “Die For You” and “Drag Me,” which recently hit No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. “Die For You” has also taken on new meaning with fans online, sparking an unexpected anti-bullying movement and reinforcing the band’s message of strength, connection and standing together.

Saliva first exploded onto the hard rock scene with anthems like “Click Click Boom” and “Your Disease,” the latter earning a Grammy nomination. Their major label debut, Every Six Seconds, went double-platinum and helped define early 2000s rock with a string of fan favorites, including “Always,” “Raise Up” and “Rest In Pieces.” Today, the band continues forward with frontman Bobby Amaru, honoring the legacy of founding guitarist Wayne Swinny while bringing new energy to their catalog and live performances.

Saving Abel, the Southern rock powerhouse from Corinth, Mississippi, is best known for hard-hitting anthems that blend post-grunge grit with radio-ready hooks. The band broke through nationally with the multi-platinum hit “Addicted,” which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. With charting singles like “18 Days,” “Drowning (Face Down),” “Stupid Girl (Only in Hollywood)” and “The Sex Is Good,” Saving Abel remains a fan favorite for rock audiences.
