McPHERSON, Kan. — McPherson Center for Health is preparing for an upcoming transition to a new electronic health record system and patient portal experience. As part of this change, MyCareCorner will no longer be used for ongoing patient access to health information beginning July 1, 2026.
Patients who currently use MyCareCorner are encouraged to log in before July 1, 2026, to download or save any medical records, lab results, visit summaries, or health information they would like to keep for their personal records.
McPherson Center for Health is transitioning from CPSI to MEDITECH, an upgraded electronic health record system that will support a new patient portal and provide enhanced tools for care coordination, documentation, and communication.
While MyCareCorner will no longer be updated after July 1, patients should know that McPherson Center for Health will continue to securely maintain all medical records as part of the organization’s official health record system.
“Our goal is to make this transition as smooth and transparent as possible for our patients,” said Charity Clark, Chief Operating Officer. “We want patients to understand that their medical records remain safely maintained by the hospital, but we encourage anyone wanting personal copies of records currently available in MyCareCorner to save them before the transition.”
After July 1, 2026, requests for records related to services received prior to that date will need to be completed through the hospital’s records request process.
Patients may request records by visiting mcphersoncenterforhealth.org and selecting “Request Records” at the top of the homepage. For assistance, patients may also call 620-241-2251 ext. 475.
Additional information regarding the new patient portal, including setup instructions and availability, will be shared with patients closer to launch.
McPherson Center for Health appreciates the community’s patience and partnership during this transition and remains committed to providing compassionate, connected care close to home.
