Governor Laura Kelly named McPherson Fire Chief Chad Mayberry to the Governor’s Uniform Fire Code Task Force.
Chief Mayberry will help review and recommend updates to Kansas fire prevention standards and the state’s uniform fire code.
Mayberry has also been appointed to serve on the Kansas Fallen Firefighter Memorial Board, which honors Kansas firefighters who died serving their communities.
