HUTCHINSON, KAN. — November 3, 2026 — The spotlight is calling, and Hutchinson’s Historic Fox Theatre is looking for the community’s brightest stars! The Fox is excited to announce Hutchinson’s Got Talent, a community-wide talent competition and fundraising event scheduled for Saturday, January 23, 2027. Audition registration is officially open, and tickets for the live event are on sale now!
Whether you’re a singer, dancer, musician, comedian, magician, or have a unique talent that deserves the spotlight, Hutchinson’s Got Talent is your chance to shine on the historic Fox stage!
More than just a talent competition, Hutchinson’s Got Talent is a fundraiser supporting the ongoing operations of Hutchinson’s Historic Fox Theatre. Proceeds from ticket sales and audience voting will help support the theatre’s mission, preserve this treasured historic landmark, and quite literally keep the lights on at the Fox!
Calling All Talent — Audition Registration Is Open!
Performers of all ages and talents are encouraged to register for auditions. Auditions will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2026, with both in-person auditions and video submissions accepted. Registrations are mandatory to audition.
The deadline to register is Saturday, December 5, at 5:00 p.m. Registered contestants participating in person will receive their assigned audition times following the registration deadline.
Selected contestants will have the opportunity to perform live on the Fox stage before an enthusiastic audience and a panel of celebrity judges, competing for cash prizes and bragging rights! Interested performers can register by scanning the QR code:
$1,500 in Cash Prizes Up for Grabs!
Two awards will be presented during the evening:
- Judges’ Pick Award — $1,000: Selected by a panel of three celebrity judges based on the evening’s performances.
- People’s Choice Award — $500: Determined by audience members and supporters through paid voting, with voting proceeds benefiting the Fox Theatre.
The Fox is thrilled to welcome Cris Corey, Piper Harding, and Dashona Mahoney as the evening’s celebrity judges. These special guests will help celebrate the incredible talent found throughout Hutchinson and the surrounding communities while selecting the Judges’ Pick winner.
The People’s Choice competition adds an exciting fundraising element to the evening, allowing audience members, friends, family, and community supporters to cast votes for their favorite performers. Every vote is another opportunity to support both local talent and the historic Fox Theatre.
A Celebration of Community Talent
The production will be directed by Jo Stropes, who is helping bring this exciting community event to life.
