The extended family of a woman who died last week after being struck in a Salina crosswalk is reaching out to the community for help.
The sister-in-law of 41-year-old Audrey Rutherford has set up a GoFundMe page to help with funeral costs and medical bills.
Rutherford was taken to Salina Regional Health Center where she died after being hit in a crosswalk in Salina on October 7th.
Her sister-in-law shared in the post:
“She leaves behind her beloved husband and four daughters. The youngest is only 7. Right now, the family is devastated and feels lost as they try to face this sudden loss.
The funds raised will help cover her cremation costs and medical bills, easing some of the immediate financial burden on her family during this painful time.”
