A Salina woman was taken into custody after she reportedly caused a disturbance inside a restaurant and threatened a police officer.

According to Lt. Andrew Zeigler, on Wednesday evening, staff at Coops Pizzeria on West Crawford called police after 41-year-old Nicole L. Hoffschneider began chasing patrons around the dining room.

Police say Hoffschneider became aggressive as officers approached her in the parking lot. While being detained she reportedly kicked a SPD Co-Responder, threatened to kill another officer and then spit at officers.

Police used a body wrap and transported her to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment and then booked her into jail on numerous charges that could include criminal treat, assault LEO, battery and littering.
