Nov. 7 “Laughter Without Limits” builds on the success of a nearly sold-out 2024 event as additional business sponsorship opportunities remain available
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Nationally recognized comedian Josh Blue will return to Hutchinson on Saturday, Nov. 7, for “Laughter Without Limits,” a fundraising event benefiting Beyond Barriers and its work to promote independence and inclusion for individuals with disabilities across 60 Kansas counties. The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Hutchinson’s Historic Fox Theatre, 18 E. First Ave.
Blue is known for using stand-up comedy to challenge stereotypes surrounding disability through humor, honesty and authenticity. He gained national attention after winning Last Comic Standing and has appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, America’s Got Talent and comedy specials across the country. Blue also represented the United States as a member of the Paralympic Soccer Team and performs more than 200 shows annually.
The 2026 event follows Beyond Barriers’ successful 2024 Josh Blue fundraiser, which drew a nearly sold-out audience of comedy fans, community members and supporters. Together, attendees and sponsors helped raise nearly $27,000 for programs and services supporting individuals with disabilities.
“The response to our 2024 event showed how strongly this community supports both Beyond Barriers and an event that brings people together through laughter,” Wondra said. “This year’s sponsors are helping us create another memorable evening while supporting services that give people with disabilities greater independence, access and opportunity.”
The evening will begin with an exclusive cocktail hour featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres, a signature cocktail and a curated selection of beer and wine. Guests will then move to the Fox Theatre for Blue’s live performance.
Beyond Barriers is building on the success of the previous event by inviting additional businesses to join its 2026 sponsors. Sponsorship gives area businesses visibility through event promotions and live and print materials while providing an opportunity to support accessibility, community inclusion and independent living for people with disabilities. Depending on the sponsorship level, packages also include tickets that businesses may use to host employees, clients or community partners.

Sponsorship opportunities remain available at several levels, with benefits varying by package. Available benefits may include recognition in the official event program, placement on live and print marketing materials, featured recognition in event communications, VIP show tickets and admission to the full event.
