Thousands of hay bales have been burning and smoldering at a business south of Salina.
The Salina Fire Department responded around 10:45 Friday morning to Big Horse Hay, LLC on West Water Well Road.
Firefighters found two sheds filled with thousands of bales on fire. Fire investigators say the hay is expected to continue burning for at least a week.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
