A utility terrain vehicle was destroyed by fire on Monday.
According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, 38-year-old Heath Patrick was working on a fence in the area, away from the UTV when it caught fire. Deputies and McPherson Rural Fire District #2 were sent to the 12,000 block of Cooley Road to extinguish the fire.
The 2022 Kawasaki Mule Pro 100 which is valued at approximately $20,000 is a total loss. Cause of fire is undetermined but not considered suspicious.
