The Lazy River at the McPherson Water Park is getting a makeover. Crews are resurfacing the popular attraction to keep it safe and smooth after years of exposure to sun, pool chemicals and heavy use.
The project includes sanding, sealing and applying a new painted coating. Wamego-based Ashton-Kate was hired for the work, which is expected to take up to two weeks.
