Organizers for a street art and mural festival, known as Salina Boom! is cancelling their fall event this year.
The group ‘Salina Kanvas Project’ announced via Facebook that an unresolved legal matter involving sign ordinances – one that does not involve Salina Boom! — has created uncertainty around their ability to proceed responsibly this year.
They wrote: “With heavy hearts, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Boom! Street Art & Mural Festival.”
