The Bowlus Fine Arts Center will receive $57,000 less in county funding next year after Allen County commissioners approved a reduction in support from $207,000 to $150,000.

Bowlus Director Mandy Moyer told the USD 257 Board of Education Monday that she plans to launch a fundraising campaign to help make up the shortfall. The funding reduction will take effect in April 2027.

Moyer said the cut is a major concern for the Bowlus and future planning going into the next fiscal year.
