HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The railroad crossing on East Avenue G will be closed beginning Monday, August 3, at 7:00 a.m. to allow for railroad crossing repairs.
The repairs will be completed by Siemens, with City crews providing traffic control throughout the project.
During the closure, motorists should follow the posted detour. Traffic will be directed south on Airport Road to Enterprise Drive, north on Commerce Street, and then back to East Avenue G. A detour map is attached for reference.
The railroad crossing is expected to reopen on Tuesday, August 25, weather and construction conditions permitting.
