A Salina City Commissioner is stepping down from his post.
City Commissioner and Vice Mayor Jerry Ivey is set to resign, effective this Friday, July 24th.
Current commissioners will soon appoint someone to fill his seat until the next general election. Ivey was elected in November of 2023 and was sworn in back in January 2024.
The next Salina City Commission meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 27th at 4pm.
