A Galva woman was killed and two others injured in a Saturday evening crash south of McPherson.
McPherson County Sheriff’s Captain Jeffrey Schmidt said deputies and first responders were sent just before 6:30 PM to the 900 block of 14th Avenue, between Dakota and Eisenhower Roads.
Preliminary information indicated a southbound car had slowed down to turn into a private driven when it was struck by a northbound SUV.
Both Drivers were taken to McPherson Center for Health for treatment of injuries. A passenger in the car, Julie Goucher, 43, of Galva, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
