ALLEN COUNTY, Kan. — Main Street America and American Express have announced a new round of Backing Small Business Grants, which aims to help small businesses recover from hardship, grow, and positively impact their communities.
Nationally, 400 grants of $10,000 each are being awarded for projects enhancing long term resiliency, promoting sustainable growth, and strengthening positive impacts in their community.
Eligible businesses are independently owned with fewer than 20 employees, with a physical storefront in a downtown or commercial district.
Thrive Allen County will be providing free assistance with the application July 23 and July 29 from 5-7 PM at their office at 9 South Jefferson in Iola, or an online session July 24 at 5. If you have questions or want to sign up for the virtual meeting, call 620-365-8128.
