It will take about 150 election workers to pull off Primary Election Day in Saline County.
County Clerk and Elections Officer Jamie Doss tells Ad Astra News that August 4th will begin with 27 voting locations opening at 7am across Saline County. The tabulation will come after they close at 7pm and Doss hopes the turnout is above average.
Since July 20th about 1,300 voters have walked in to the City-County Building to cast an early ballot. “We typically have between 20 to 22-percent turnout in a primary election,” she said.
“It kind of looks like we are going to have the same this year.”
Doss adds a few tips: make sure you read a sample ballot before you go to vote, know your polling place and remember to bring your photo ID.
