Newton, Kan. – The Bethany College Women’s Golf team took down the road to Newton, Kan. to participate in their final tournament of the Spring season the KCAC Conference tournament. The championship was played over 54 holes.
As a team, Bethany finished 4th. The Swedes were led by Annabelle Vanaman and Logan Jakus as both would finish tied for 18th. Vanaman had her low round Monday shooting 90 (+18). Jakus had her low round Tuesday shooting 87 (+15). Audrey Allen would finish the tournament in 22nd; one spot ahead of Lilyan Walden. Ekko Hopkins would round up the Swedes performance at 25th. Overall, it was a good Conference tournament at a tough course in cold and windy conditions.
This concludes the season for Swedes Golf. The women showed great improvement and growth throughout the entire season and we are excited to see what is ahead for next year.
