Larks Compete at The Collegiate

TULSA, Okla. — The Hesston College disc golf team competed at The Collegiate Presented by Innova Discs Sept. 5-6 at the Blackhawk Disc Golf Course in Tulsa, Okla., with six Larks competing across three mixed collegiate divisions.

In Mixed Collegiate Division 2, Devin Miller led Hesston with a seventh-place finish, shooting a two-round total of 131 (+5). Miller opened with a 68 before improving to a 63 in the second round. Zachary Kaufman finished eighth at 133 (+7), carding rounds of 66 and 67.

Lily Corkill represented Hesston in the Women’s Collegiate Division 1, finishing seventh with a two-round score of 140 (+24). Corkill improved significantly in the second round, shooting a 67 after opening with a 73.

Hesston also had three competitors in Mixed Collegiate Division 3. Jayson Angle led the group with a sixth-place finish at 140 (+24), following rounds of 72 and 68. Noah Hiebert placed eighth with a 158 (+42), while Peyton Schrock finished ninth with a 176 (+60).

The Larks will see their next collegiate competition at the Powercat Invitational hosted by Kansas State University at Fairmont Park in Manhattan on Sunday (Oct. 4).
