Neosho battled to a 2–2 draw against Kansas City Kansas Community College, producing a strong second-half response after going into halftime a goal behind.
The Panthers controlled large periods of the opening half and created seven chances, but were unable to turn their opportunities into goals. Despite Neosho’s attacking pressure, Kansas City Kansas took advantage at the other end to carry a 1–0 lead into halftime.
Neosho responded with real intent after the break. A dominant spell saw the Panthers score twice in the space of just a few minutes, with Riccardo Giovanelli finding the net before Dylan Parry-Jones added a second to complete the turnaround and put Neosho 2–1 ahead.
The Panthers continued to compete and looked to see out the result, but the final five minutes proved costly. Kansas City Kansas found an equalizer late in the game to bring the score level at 2–2.
Neosho pushed until the final whistle but were unable to find the decisive third goal, leaving the Panthers to settle for a point after a performance that saw them create enough opportunities to take more from the game.
