The Neosho Panthers fell 3-0 to KCK in a hard-fought battle that was much closer than the final score indicated.
Neosho came out with composure and discipline, competing well throughout the opening half. The Panthers remained organized, moved the ball well, and battled for every possession. The match remained scoreless at halftime, with both teams entering the break at 0-0.
KCK opened the scoring seven minutes into the second half and added a second goal in the 17th minute. Their final goal came in the 39th minute to secure the 3-0 result.
Despite the result, the Panthers continued to compete and fight until the final whistle. A few costly mistakes ultimately made the difference in the game, but the team showed resilience and continued to work together throughout the match.
The result was not what we wanted, but the standard remains the same. We will learn from our mistakes, continue to improve, and move forward together.
The Panthers now turn their focus to the next challenge against Pratt on Saturday, October 10th.
